Introduction

Automatic Three Phase Vision Inspection System is specifically designed for detecting production date, expiration date and batch number on product packaging. This inspection system can quickly and accurately identify and assess the information on product packaging. As an efficient and precise inspection tool, it helps manufacturers achieve comprehensive monitoring and management of product quality, improve production efficiency, reduce costs and risks and provide strong support for sustainable development.

During inspection, the product triggers the capture of three-phase information images at specific positions, which will be sent to the inspection system. The detection system uses visual inspection algorithms to analyze the images, compare them with templates and determine whether the production date, expiration date and batch number are correct, complete and free of omissions. If the production date, expiration date and batch number are incomplete, incorrect, or missing, the system will issue an audible and visual alarm and activate the ejection mechanism to remove defective products.

Using high-definition cameras to capture information on product packaging, including year, month, day, batch number, etc., while employing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to convert text in images into numerical or textual data. The recognized date information is then processed and analyzed for defects such as missing characters, positional shifts, duplicate codes, and incomplete characters.
